There's nothing that signals the arrival of fall quite like Oktoberfest. The growing popularity of German cuisine on Canada's West Coast is just one of the reasons why Harvest Haus, an immersive food and drink experience based on the abundant European harvest festivals of yonder year, is turning the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza into a mini-Munich from October 1st to 11th. Bauhaus Restaurant will be there with our own culinary booth called The Noodle Haus, where you can embrace your inner minstrel and feast on some German classics. Join Chef Stefan Hartmann as he creates a fantastic Oktoberfest assortment of traditional German dishes. To whet your appetite, Stefan shares his special recipe for Käsespätzle (a.k.a. German Mac & Cheese) with Western Living Magazine in anticipation for the event. Tickets range from $25 to $50 (with VIP tickets at $250), which can be purchased here.
